Fund-raising FAQ's

Are all donations Tax Deductable?


Yes.
The TX TOUGH Tour is a charitable fund-raising event created exclusively to raise money for Children's Medical Center. The tour is produced by Passion for Children's, Inc.  Passion for Children's is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization and ALL donations to PFC are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law. 



How do I get a Tax Receipt?


At the end of each calender year, tax receipts will be sent to every individual whose donation exceeded $250. For donations under $250, the canceled check or credit card statement are sufficient for the IRS, however, PFC will provide a tax receipt to any donor upon request.

Who are checks made payable to?


Checks should be made payable to Passion for Children's, Inc. If a check is made out to the TX TOUGH Tour or another related name, our bank should accept it. Please be sure to the participant's name is included in the memo line of the check to ensure the donation is allocated to the appropriate fund-raising account.

Is it safe to mail in cash?


No.  It is not safe to mail in cash.  If you want to turn in cash donations, please personally bring it to our offices located at the address shown above.
