How to start a team?

To start an "Official" TX TOUGH team you first must complete the "On-line Registration Form" located under the navigation menu bar titled "Registration" .  Next, select the "Team Captain" option and you will be able to start your team.  Please note, completing the form DOES NOT register other team members.  Each team member must register individually.  Before other team members can join, the team must be created and include a designated team captain as the point of contact.  If you have questions or want more information about starting a team, please email geoff@txtough.org  or call 214-783-7989.

How many people can be on a team?

Organizing a team is a great way to initiate teamwork involving your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.  For a company or small business, creating a team can help to promote teamwork, build camaraderie among employees and serve as a unique business promotional opportunity at a relatively low cost while making a valuable contribution to the community.   An "Official" TX TOUGH Team consists of three or more members with no limitation on the number of people who can join your team. The Tour features a team competition and awards are based on participation and fund-raising achievement. Teams are organized and placed in one of two categories and ALL awards are given to top performers in each of the categories.  Below is the list of team categories and qualifications:
